ABOUT ROCKZILLA:
ROCKZILLA is Napa’s first and only Indoor Climbing Gym with climbs of all angles and for all ability levels. 28ft walls
with (5.0-5.13) top ropes, lead climbs, VB (beginner)-VHARD bouldering and plenty of easier low angle (slabs) for
beginners and kids. Kids by the way will enjoy the abundance of big hand and foot holds called “jugs” that cover
the many shorter-easier walls at ROCKZILLA. Experts will enjoy great routes set by several of the Davis
ROCKNASIUM route-setters and local climbers Chris Summit and Eric Holt.
WHAT IS INDOOR CLIMBING?
You don’t need to be an experienced climber to enjoy the many benefits of Indoor Climbing. Much more than just
training for outdoor climbing ascending the steep walls is also an excellent full body isometric workout. It can be a
great way to cross-train for other sports or simply get and stay in shape. Body control, forearm strength and
flexibility are just a few of the physical attributes put to the test and therefore improved by indoor or outdoor
climbing. Also climbing challenges and improves mental skills like; problem solving, patience and persistence.
Climbing is a form of “physical meditation” that keeps your mind so busy trying to figure out which sequence of
holds to use that your body sometimes doesn’t even notice how great a workout you’re getting until you’re done.
Don’t forget it’s also very fun and kids love it! If you’ve never climbed and would like to learn the ropes for the first
time an indoor climbing gym is the ideal learning environment. Climbing can also be a great way to gradually
overcome a fear of heights. One of (if not) the most popular things to do at most climbing gyms are birthday parties
for kids. The parties are provided with a “belayer(s)” (rope handlers /instructors) and there is plenty of space for
other party antics including picnic tables for dining. (b.y.o.c. - bring your own cake)

ROCKZILLA is Napa’s premier Indoor Climbing Center with climbs of all angles and for all ability levels. What is

ROCKZILLA is now one of the only gyms in America to allow basic Parkour / Free Running stunts to be practiced
and enjoyed! A 12 foot long by 6 foot wide by 3 foot deep gymnastic pad along with 3 large bouldering pads makes
it safe to do flips, rolls, kongs and dynos! Weekdays are the best time to do Parkour since nights are usually busy
and climbing takes the priority, but you never know..

ROCKZILLA now has a Universal Weight Lifting Machine, Exercise Bikes, Treadmills and Free-Weights! The
Universal Machine works every muscle in the body. Butterflies, leg press, curls you name it the universal machine
probably does it. Along with the new cardio equipment you can now warm up and/or finish off your climbing workout
with a great all around workout. The exercise bikes and treadmills are also never busy so forget your other
crowded and expensive gym and come to Rockzilla for your weight lifting and cardio exercise.

Weekdays are not as busy as the weeknights or weekends so come in and take advantage of the less crowded
walls and pay only $7 before 4pm Mon-Thur for an adult day pass! Ask at the front desk about possible upcoming
Yoga, Pilates, Spinning and possibly even Parkour classes this summer and fall. Show some interest so we can
create the classes that the majority of our members want. Don't forget that first and foremost we are a climbing
gym so we already have plenty of climbing classes designed just for whatever stage of climbing you are at and to
get you to whatever stage of climbing you would like to be at. Beginner, intermediate, expert - top rope, lead or
bouldering our expert instructors can teach you whatever you want to learn for your next adventure!

The brand new bouldering area is up and running with quality routes from VB to V8 so far with more on
the way every day! A 45 degree wall, a nearly horizontal roof, the steep ships prow arete and almost
every other angle as well as plenty of vertical walls, stemming corners and beginner/intermediate terrain.
